What is the domain traffic score? Does that affect revenue?

I am not the expert but here is what I have learned at NP and other forums:

A Traffic Quality Score (TQ) is used by Yahoo to measure the quality of your traffic and to determine how well your traffic converts for the advertisers. Scores range from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest. If you have a 10, it means your traffic is converting well.

You need 100 clicks or more per day to get a TQ score. It is based on clicks going to Yahoo, not secondary providers.

Supposedly a higher TQ score was to pay more but I am not sure it affects your revenue because many do well without a TQ score. It has always been said if you don't have a TQ score not to worry. Those without TQ scores are averaged together.

TQ scores are usually updated at Parked on Thursdays or Fridays. The TQ score is found on your dashboard in the right side column.

For those without a TQ score, the average is about 7.5. So a no TQ score is better than a TQ score below the average :) That's why you shouldn't fret too much about not having a TQ score :)

What's your average CTR?
Mine is only 1.77% :(

Problems with sedo-looking for a new home

Am new to parking and had moved about 1000 domains to sedo a few months ago and never got paid. When I called in month 3, they sent me an email saying my traffic consisted of significant spam but could'nt/would'nt explain which domains were the problem and why. I have never clicked my own ads (I'm an Adsense publisher and know better), have never done anything to encourage clicks at sedo and can't figure out what they mean by "spam". My daily traffic to each site and the ctr seemed quite reasonable for exact-match domains centered around products (no brand names). I can't afford to waste time with a business like that >:( and am looking for a new home. I am considering Parked mainly because of this thread and will probably split my portfolio between 2 or 3 companies.

Has anyone had a situation like this? I ask because if there are troublesome domains in my list, I'd sure like to know which ones and why so I can take care of the problem. Does anyone have any pointers? Thanks in advance.

Were these old domains that had dropped that you bought or did they used to be websites? Sometimes the traffic from what the name used to be used for can cause you to have very low quality traffic numbers. Parked.com has a few tools that will let you track where the traffic is coming from.

I have no idea if these were problem sites in the past. I just bought them over the last year after going thru Google search. Most are exact-match keyword domains around micro niches.

It looks like a few are left here. :)

Straglers. I prefer to say on Donny's good side and not mention what he tells me here or what I read elsewhere

I didn't realize WhyPark was free now and owned by Parked - I just applied with a few names - will see how it goes

@advaita
So, does that mean that parking at parked = whypark?

I got rejected by parked a few times but whypark accepted me... Should I keep trying on getting accepted by parked or whypark is just the same company with different name?

Yes, Parked.com bought WhyPark...but Donny and Craig are still keeping the two companies completely separate...except the Yahoo feed :)
