The data for the 15th is now available to us. Give it about 2-3 hours and the 15th/16th/17th will be available.

And yes, everybody will be paid on time. :)

It would seem that advertiser depth is again collapsing in a second phase of withdrawls, and thus RPC also. Not good news.

I've been watching certain markets for years and even more advertisers are pulling out now in those markets above and beyond those that left in the fall of 2008.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is more isolated to Yahoo b/c I don't see it at Google as much. I hope Y is not losing steam.

I realize I have a narrow scope of vision into the particular markets I pay attention to.....but that is what I am seeing. The only thing I don't understand is where are these advertisers getting business from if they are pulling back on advertising?
.

that's what i figured...but in my niches...i saw the advertisers come back in strong force...and RPC shoot up...to only disappear again (and RPC shoot down)...10 days later???....makes no sense.....are they really disappearing??......10 days on...10 days off...10 days on..etc...?....

Or the advertisers are doing it like I did a few years ago. Run a campaign for 10 days on a particular keyword. Take it down evaluate the numbers and start everything over again.

I've only been with Parked for three days but seeing the drop from estimated rev to actual rev is very disappointing. I'm not sure if posting my exact numbers is against the TOS, so I'll use $10 as an example:

2009-02-17* $10.00 (earlier today)
2009-02-17 $3.50 (now)

Is it normal for the actual rev to drop over 60% from the estimated rev?

Thanks

It does happen from time to time.
However, you'll also see upswing as much as downswing :D

It happens both directions. I have seen clicks come way down when they are finalized, or go way up. Over time it tends to even out.

it also depends on the niche. First couple of days or clicks on a domain will show .23-.26 per click. get 50 clicks on an adult name it will cose down at .05-.06 per click get a click on a high paying niche and you can get $8-10 which would make it go way way up. I like those days when I have 30-50 clicks on my $10 per click name

FWIW, I pulled about $50K/month worth of client advertising out of Yahoo a few weeks ago when they changed their terms and conditions, and I wasn't the only one.

Wow...what a read Netmeg. Especially reply section.

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!!??

What consequences and ramifications do you see for the parking companies that use the Yahoo feed, besides the obvious loss of advertisers and possible income?
