Just applied for an account at parked.com but I do not have a huge .com generic portfolio its more of .infos with good wordtracker and overture. Any chance of me being accepted?

If there a option where we can receive the daily stats by mail, i think it would be very helpful.

mntor - That has been an option since day one. :)

Donny

Excuse me. I am new at parked.

Thanks for the info. I will check it out soon.

:tu:

Edit: Donny - I am referring to an option where the daily stats will be emailed automatically. Are you sure it is already there? I am only able to see an option where we can get the stats emailed after we click the email option.

Donny is parked.com having any outings/events for parked.com customers at the domainer mardi gras? Still trying to decide if I want to go

Donny - I contacted my account manager as you suggested, and while extremely attentive and quick to reply, he wasn't able to provide the information I was actually looking for. While he was able to provide me a list of my domains that had 404's on a given day, he stated that Parked does not have data for what url produced the 404's or its external referrer.

This would be useful information to include in the upcoming upgrade. Knowing the url or the external referrer would prove very helpful in targeting the domain to receive more clicks. I am able to get this data through AWstats on my developed domains, so I can't imagine that gathering this data would be too much trouble for the programmers at parked.

I will eagerly await the upgrade.

BTW, it was confirmed that the two domains showing in my traffic report with zero visitors and zero clicks were the biggest culprits in producing my 404's. In actuality, the daily 404's on one of the domains is greater than the daily traffic on many of my domains. I would really like to convert this traffic.

It appears that many of my 404's are coming from just two of my domains I have parked. I am guessing this because these two domains keep appearing in my statistics with zero visitors and zero clicks. It only seems to happen with these two domains. Is there any way to tell if this is so, and why these domains keep getting the 404's? Is this something that my account manager can help me with? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hey Guys (and Gals).

Pardon my ask, but is there a way to remove all "custom content" from all domains?

I uploaded my domain info to a .csv - tweeked the spreadsheet, then downloaded it. Works perfect for everything but the "custom content" section. I see I can delete the content on a one by one domain basis, but I have a bunch of domains (don't know which ones, I forgot) that I added custom content to long ago, and I would like to remove it globally.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

L2

I thought there was a "reset to default" setting...but I know for sure Donny or your Account Manager can do it for you L2.

With the reset tab you can reset your keywords, but cannot remove your content. You would need to individually remove each domain content.

I have a few questions to answer here, so here we go.

mntor - Run a report and save it, then you will have the option of having that mailed to you everyday.

AWRosey - Internally we have some of the referral information, but not all of it. As of right now I don't think we will have that information available when the new stats come out either. PM me the two domains and I'll see what I can find for you.

justhangin1212 - Weird, one post and the account is closed. Domainer Mardi Gras, is a show that we will be sponsoring at Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Everybody is invited to DMG a few people on namepros have told me they will be going already. I know we have a balcony on Bourbon Street two nights right now. Past that, probably a little drinking as well. The world's largest party.

l2ride55 - There isn't a way to empty all of the custom content at this time.

That's right...my bad...it's only the KEYWORDS that can be reset. :)

I see it working on 2 click landers but haven't noticed it on 1 click landers. If you have 'BuyWhite.xxx' and the majority of people look for 'white prices' then the keywords below the main keyword should eventually optimize into being more closely related to 'white prices' instead of 'Buy white'

Does domain magic work with 1 click landers as well? I'm guessing no.

Our system does not optimze the keyword/ads that are on the 1 click landers.

I signed up for Parked.com a few months back and have had really good results. The vast majority of my domains have clear uses so they work very well with Parked.com

I have about 1/3 of my portfolio there and wish I signed up before. I didn't realize how much money I was losing by using Sedo and their weak clicks.

My CTR rate is much higher, probably to do with the nice landers and ability to choose relevant keywords.

In fact the landers are so nice I have had several people contact me about domains for sale asking if it comes with the website as well

I do have one question. How is a 1 vs 2 page lander determined?

I have a several one page landers and most do very well. However, there is 1 particular domain that gets a 1 page lander that pulls in ads not very relevant to the way the actual term is used.

Brad, from my understanding, the 1/2 click lander is determined by Yahoo based on the domain Kw. So, if you have a direct Kw domain, with a lot of advertisers, you most likely will end up with a 1 click lander. An easy example would be loans.com. I'm pretty sure that if you had that name, you would end up getting a 1 click lander. However, a broad Kw domain like bestloansinva.com would probably end up with a 2 click lander. So, the closer your domain name is to a high traffic Kw with many advertisers, the higher the chances of your getting a 1 click lander.

As regards the 1 click lander not displaying relevant ads, you have an option of contacting your account manager to request it be changed to a 2 click lander.

Varon, thanks for the info. Rep added.

I just contacted my account rep to see if I could get a two page lander on this specific domain since the ads pulled in are not related to the way the actual term is used.
