Anyone else having a really good day at Parked? There is a little bot activity but nothing serious......the rest looks legit.

I sure hope we get an X-MAS uplift here soon. It sucks to not have gravy during the gravy season.....maybe this is the beginning.

Here you go Leonard.... it was posted at the end of September:

1. India
2. South East Asia: Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia
3. Latin America: Mexico, Columbia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile and Argentina

.

Out of curiosity I have some names with south american and indian traffic which i havent used in parked because i am afraid even though i have no traffic score that they would bring my epc down if added to my usa insurance names. Am I figuring right on this i am fairly new to parked but dont they look at the whole portfolio in yahoo rather than individual names
Thanks

After reading many good posts about parked, I applied for an account last friday. Once I submitted the app., there was an automatic response saying something like "it would take upto three business days to get back" if I am not mistaken. Just a while ago today, I wanted to login with the username and password I had created thinking maybe the message was sent to the account. When I tried, I found a message on the screen saying "my account was not approved." I would appreciate it, if Donny could reply to this post when he finds spare time from paintball :)

Thanks,

Jason - I've been waking up between 4am and 5am everyday. Still not used to the time change yet. :)

fatter - You shouldn't have to worry about it. Especially in your case.

Bluevoyager - You can PM me the username/email that you signed up with and I can take a look at it.

Joe.....this is what Julia says. It's also a good read at the link below:

"Anyone familiar with the Yahoo panama discounting program will be aware that through their labyrinth of algorithms you are scored by domain and by account for the traffic you send to them. Your score (out of ten) also reflects the amount you get paid. For example, if you score a 6/10 for your traffic, you get 6/10ths of the click value. i.e. 60% of what you would have got if you were a ten. Quite simple really."

I applied for an account at parked.com, but my account was not approved. Donny, can you please check it?
I'm sure there's nothing wrong with my application

I know that the subject of adjusted click earnings has been asked plenty of times before. I myself have had estimated click revenue adjusted both upward and downward. However, I have not seen one as drastic as I had yesterday. I had one domain that had one visitor and one click for an estimated value of $1.76. This morning, the click value was adjusted down 99.4% to a click value of $0.01. Has anyone else experienced such drastic drops as this? Mind you, I am not complaining as my experiences with Parked have been far superior than I had with other parking companies. I am just surprised to see such a large adjustment on a click. Thanks in advance.

Actually had quite the opposite yesterday. Had a click estimated at $.22 and when it finalized today it came to $4.29.

Wow! Now that's a nice surprice to get. I have had plenty that have finalized up, but nothing like that.

It was on a domain that hardly ever gets any traffic but when it does they usually click. It was a credit domain by the way.

I've had 'em settle way up, and I've had 'em settle at $0 (I get a lot of bot traffic) Overall, I'm generally up (except for the last month or so) The thing is, based on a variety circumstances, clicks on the same keyword/domain/ad can be vastly different. It's not uncommon to get both $.12 clicks and $2.00 clicks on some domains. (For example - even if you have a 1-click page, there are usually at least ten ads on it, and the top ads will be the most lucrative, but what if the visitor is more interested in the 9th ad, and doesn't pay near as well?)

Parked estimates based on the most recent information it has for clicks for that domain. So if I got a click two days ago for $.12, that's going to be my estimate until it settles, when it can go up or down. Or even stay the same. Now, if it goes up to say, $1.28, the next time I get a click, it might estimate at $1.28 but settle out at $.45

And so on.

I dont know and I am curios about this who generates bot clicks to a someones parking page , bot owner does not earn money what is his aim and gain? Someone generates bot traffic and clicks to earn money in parked only three parties earn money so donny or netmeg or yahoo sends bot traffic or any ideas?

QUESTION::::::

lets say i started a parked.com account today, i optimized my portfolio and editted all the keywords & change the site parked page layouts for eash domain.....

How long does it take for parked.com's system to optimizie the portfolio themselves and get it going? few days/weeks?

I don't understand the question? As soon you do all that editing, it's optimized. It may take a while for a search engine to pick up your changes (and it's possible it won't pick it up at all) but I don't think there's anything Parked does after you do your thing.

If you go in and set all of your keywords and such for each domain, haven't you pretty much just optimized your own domains? :)

Not necessary. I have referred two people in the past with no company.

Good luck.

Thank you Seabass for the info. I just saw your message. I had already applied, but later I found out my account was not approved. I already contacted Donny about it.

As soon as I figure out how to do it, I will rep you. Again, thank you Seabass. :hearts:

Donny,

I sent you a pm with the username and email info.

Thanks,

Bluevoyager

Just enter your own name as a company name.

Thanks Packrat. That is not what I did but I appreaciate the suggestion. My rep is on its way.

Packrat,

I could not send you a rep, as I could to Seabass. There was not an option available to do that. In any case thank you for your help. :hearts:
