It should not be that low if you are using appropriate keywords.d0main said:I just moved to Parked. The pay is good but my CTR is low at 11%. I have optimized all of my domains. I've heard that it's usually at around 20-25 for normal accounts. Anyone have any suggestions?
Check the advertisers for the keywords on both Google and Yahoo to see which ones have better advertisers and then keep experimenting b/t parking providers that use the feed with the best advertisers.d0main said:it's not expired traffic. I had the same CTR rate at sedo

Thanks
Yes.....but did the little, opinionated, snickering rat bastard click on any ads? :lol:Web Trader said:On a different note, I noticed there's been a little talk above about layouts. Some weeks ago I had a perfect opportunity to hear what a total nondomainer had to say about his impression of an actual Parked.com page. It was an absolutely perfect opportunity to get a totally frank statement from someone I knew was looking at one, but I wasn't going to tell him a thing, only hear what he said. Now, probably a lot of us here, self included have always felt that the Parked pages are great and among our favorites of all parking pages in terms of aesthetics and so forth, likely to appeal enough to "normal" visitors and get good conversions, etc. To my surprise and I'm sorry to say disappointment, the first thing I recall out of his mouth was just something like "It's for sale" (but it wasn't for sale at all) and then he made a number of frankly discouraging remarks indicating his belief that it was just a parking page, for sale, yada, yada, and the most memorable statement of all was him saying literally that it looked like one of those "parked" pages, although he's probably never heard of "Parked" itself in his life. I thought about posting this then but decided against it. Now I figure, why not, maybe it can help in some way.

I have to disagree with that. There are many times I have to change the keywords or can't get the appropriate one to work. There are many times too that related keywords really have little relevance to the main subject.thetruman said:I think that the parked system already uses the best possible keywords for both CTR and RPC...
