Being frustrated with Namedrive avg ppc (with those 1 cent clicks), I am trying to switch over to some other parking company.

Have you guys tried parked.com???

Was really impressed with their website.

I really dig parked.com, customization of title, meta tags and can provide your own link back to your own email address or site so all domain deals end up in your own hands, they do not allow gambling, adult or trademark domains so leave those at namedrive or sedo, they do not have .mobi templates yet so if you have any of those leave those at namedrive or sedo as well, uses yahoo ads which have shown me the most revenue and they also pay for multiple clicks, I have seen 1 user click 12 times before in my stats, overall parked.com is my favorite currently and I have 179 domains with them and the rest that parked.com won't accept or don't do well scattered around at a few other providers sedo, namedrive, trafficclub, etc... I have also made a few suggestions to my account rep for improvements with their program who has passed along this info and the changes were made, so I gotta love a program that listens to suggestions from their partners. Your best bet would be to park all of your domains at sedo, namedrive, parked, trafficclub, etc... for a month each and then see where each domain name generates the most income for you as generally 1 program is not the best for all of your domains and testing is the only way to achieve maximum income from your entire portfolio.

I would have to agree to....except that a few days ago, Parked announnced very BRIEFLY, that it was no longer accepting traffic clicks from foreign countries and my PPC has plummetted......they said that they would be following with an announcement as to which countries etc and how they plan to rectify returns...but so far, have heard nothing.......quite disappointing in how they have kept so quiet about such an important consequence to our parking revenue.........

sorry to hear about that, I hadn't heard anything about that, my stats seem to stay pretty consistent as mainly being U.S. traffic so hopefully I don't see too much loss, maybe donny will comment on any filters being put into place, I know traffic club blocks Turkey & Iran and a few other companies have filters as well, would be curious as to which countries will receive the filter at Parked.com.

UNITED STATES 95.16%
NETHERLANDS 3.23%
REPUBLIC OF KOREA 1.61%

Unfortunately only 38% of my traffic is the US, the next 30% comes from Hungary!!!! dont ask me how or why!!!, then Arab Emirites..so that will explain the difference....!!

I guess parking companies will need to post banned countries in their terms or faq if they aren't doing this already so we can choose who to park with based on their filters and our source of traffic.

2 page or 1 page landers

I use Trafficz which also uses Yahoo feeds. Some of my domains have a 1 click landing page, others are the 2 page kind. I checked with Trafficz and they said that it's all to do with the Yahoo feeds. Trafficz said they don't make any decision about this, it's all to do with relevance of domain name and keywords, to exact match with advertisers. The better the match, the more chance of a 1 click landing page. It's probably the same with Parked.

I'm pretty sure your right, yahoo ads seem to pay better than google in my case but the yahoo filters and 1-2 page selection seem to be a little touchier than google.

Actually, they do allow gambling sites, but they do not give the discretion for keywords and or design....

I have BETTINGCHANNEL.TV and it comes up ok.

yeah I'm a control freak so if I can't mess with keywords or design I'd rather have it somewhere that I can customize it.

There are a lot of things here so I will try to hit all of them at one time.

Gambling Domains. Yahoo has always required all of their partners to show certain terms on gambling domains. And to be honest with you the terms have nothing to do with gambling, more of a las vegas thing. Hopefully in the next few weeks we shouldn't have this problem any longer.

Our email announcement was basically this. Our primary provider Yahoo told all of their partners they were only going to accept traffic from a certain number of countries. We setup a system that if you had traffic coming from a country Yahoo did not support we had a secondary feed and you would get results from the secondary provider. Plain simple, nothing too exciting.

Yahoo tells us what is a 1 click and 2 click domain. I can tell you a little secret, 1 click, gets more clicks, but usually makes less money. But it also depends on not the type of traffic but the quantity of traffic.

And currently we have no banned countries.

I think that's all of the questions from everybody.

Slightly OT but I would appreciate if someone could explain, when I visit some of the sites I see mentioned on here there is often a problem with the links, some of them put me through to the site OK but a lot of the time all I get is an error message for a dead link. Is this normal? Is it my browser or does everyone have this problem? Thanks..

Could you send me some examples via PM or on here and also send me an ip address that you are connecting from. That would help as well.

Hi Donny,

I think I've figured out the problem but confirmation would be nice.

I went to Millers site BETTINGCHANNEL.TV (I don't know him so it was a genuine visit) and clicked 'Casino Poker' then I clicked on 888.com - just got an error message, pacificpoker.com - error message, but affiliates.victor.com and 888.bonus.co.uk

Knowing your country would help. Or ip would be better.

Yup, I'm in the UK and that seems to be what's doing it - I get through to UK cos. ok but not US. Is this normal for all sites or is it just gambling related?

I just found a proxy server based in the UK, and I didn't have any problems searching on the domain and clicking on any of the results.

Hmmm, strange - more research required methinks, maybe sites are just being blocked one way? Thanks for your help.
