Park or selfhost

Hi, this is probably a stupid question, but on the basis that there's no such thing as a stupid question... I'll ask it anyway:

What is the benefit of using a parking company instead of self-hosting? I am looking to park a few hundred domains.

If you park with a hosting company, it's easy to do and you might get some revenue or sales. The parking companies are professional parkers as opposed to you going off on your own developing minisites (not know your particular skills). If you self host the domains you have a lot more work developing a minisite on every domain. Much more time consuming and you have to pay for the hosting.
