PageRank Spoof - Help Needed

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of selling one of my websites and everything was fine until Google did something to the PageRank.

The domain is blogospherenews.com.

It used to be a PageRank 5.

Now it's showing PageRank 8 with only 379 backlinks.

I've done all the research I can but came up empty. Does anyone have any ideas on what might have happened?

Humm... PR 8 is better then PR 5. Sorry but I am not understanding the question here. If they updated the PR and if you have got PR 8 instead of PR 5 then it is ofcourse the best thing to happen to a webmaster.

It's not the amount of backlinks that by definition determines your PR but the quality of these backlinks.

But with that said your domain does hold a fake Pagerank Jasber.
Did you buy the site yourself or have you build it up on your own?
Do you have someone working on the site for you that may have done something you may not know about?

I don't have much time to look into this further for you.
Perhaps someone else can dig into this to find the cause of this happening to your blog.

the PR is fake definately.

did u ever redirect the name to that sics.se/interaction site?? i think that when the google was calculating its backlinks for the PR update (last month) , ur domain was pointed to this address. that is why it gained this PR which is kind of useless anyways
