OVT Newbie Question

I'm testing out some OVT strategies and don't understand some of the posts. When I run "domain.com" alone I understand how this works with regard to its value. When I see Keyword1, keyword2 and domain.com getting a OVT of 500 and up, how can I capitalize on this? Would I reg "keyword1keyword2domain.com" or does something like this hold no value?
