Hi fella's !

Well...

I've found an incredible .tv domain free to register.
The "single" one is taken, and the free one is "plural".

BUT :

the OVT for the plural and the single are THE SAME (via estibot).
Normally while cheking a plural domain via the above - it will show you the single word automatically... in this case, with this domain I've found, NOT (?!).
Should I grab it ?

google : plural (with "") : 1,970,000 (without "") : 99,500,000
google : single (with "") : 2,440,000 (without "") : 170,000,000

yahoo : plural (with "") : 6,080,000 (without "") : 55,600,000
yahoo : single (with "") : 9,490,000 (without "") : 122,000,000

OVT FOR EITHER SINGLE/PLURAL (?!) : 147,833

plural PPC Advertising Score 7/10
single PPC Advertising Score 8.5/10

please help me out asap :)

p.s - I must mention that if you check the ovt via overturecheck.com - it will only show you the single one (even if you're searching the plural term...)

Well,
Check the stats with Google Trends.

In Google Trends, type the singular and plural form with a comma separation.

ex: car,cars

If both the words have approximate equal search volume, my suggestion is to register that plural form.

Hope this would help. :)

Wordtracker is a good way to check the singular/plural breakdownbreak. Normally, OVT aggregates the results for sing./plural. Go to http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/

This will show you Wordtracker and OVT side by side (on a per day basis). Wordtracker will clearly show the breakdown. If you don't see the plural usage on wordtracker's column then its pretty safe to say that most of the OVT of this word is only the singular version.

Naturally, you will also want to know if it is something that easily lends itself to video.

Not that this is a showstopper, but it would help if you have a clear directing for dev. If the direction is muddy, it may be an issue.

Someone here, if you pm them, should be able to help you out if you tell them the name. I doubt most here would steal it from you.

One caveat....if it is really good, it might not be around long. register it at dynadot, and if it turns out to be a dud you can give it back withing 5 days.

thanks del & carry !
Well...
over at G.Trends the info is like this :
the history shows the SINGLE line over the PLURAL line.
A,B,C,E are on the SINGLE line, while D,F are on the PLURAL.
the "news reference" are one line over the other. it's like "the same line".
by regions, the plural is less than the single (9 out of 10 options), and I'm talking about THIRD line of the single - is the plural term OR LESS (on 5 regions)
the rest (on the "regions") are HALF for the plural (half a line of the single length) - that's 4 regions are like that.
on the remaining last region (south africa) - the PLURAL term is LARGER than the SINGLE one...
by cities, the plural term if HALF of the single length (I'm talking about 6 that are HALF, and 4 that are THIRD).
as for K.Suggestion, while entering the SINGLE term, I can see my PLURAL term on the left side of the collums (it's the only one written over there, with 2.0 per day), and on the right collum - with the single term - it's 4,860.3 per day.
I hope you all understood this blobble I've wrote, even I kindoff mixed my brains out :hehe:
well, back at the drawing board, is it reg-worthy ?!?

EDIT : thanks also, showbiz !
If you know someone that won't steal the idea, as you said, I'll be happy to share the info... (maybe you ?!)
thanks guys ! I truly appreciate it !

I would be glad too, no problem. I am by no means an authority, but always willing to help.

I got your PM.

In this case, I believe the singular would be better, but there isn't a snowballs chance in hell that that would stop me from buying this one.

I am actually surprised this is available. As I replied, if you don't want it, I would certainly jump at it. With both feet. And a missing big toe.

I think it has fantastic potential. Either Dev'd or just for resale.

Congrats.

HaHa, that was one on my 'list' :)

I have been running some dictionary scripts recently and would not believe how many dictionary words are still to be registered in the not so common extensions like .us and .tv let alone the good combo words like above :)

Great find, hope it works out well for you.
