People have you seen what Ovidio did with its .eu names: "A European Direct Navigation Website". Take a look: experts.eu, paintball.eu, etc. etc. What's your opinion, does this play good for .eu or not? In my opinion it is still better than nothing, i.e. than just holding or parking names.

It plays a seriously negative part in .eu ccTLD's development. The whole .eu ccTLD is a disaster zone and the natural webdevelopment percentage is heading below 17%.

You can see the stats on .about 1.436M websites here:
http://www.namepros.com/domain-name...-websites-statistics-a-disaster-progress.html

The Ovidio syndicate and other warehousers/aggregators are in the W section and account for nearly 9% of .eu websites in the survey. Direct Navigation networks are mature market phenomena. To see them this early in an extension, occupying such a significant percentage of active websites, is very bad news for the extension.

Many of the Ovidio webpage are just framed Sedo parking webpages.
