I am having the worst experience with OVH, I had registered a domain recently there and changing nameserver is so frustrating and rocket science? Whenever I try to change nameserver it gives me error and the support says I need to configure Afternic, how can I gonna configure Afternic?

Changing nameservers is a very simple process but at OVH you are dealing with a 1000 year old process may be?

The support just copy paste the same answers, they don't even do it manually from their side too if requested.

I don't know what's going on with OVH but I not gonna register a domain in my life again at OVH

OVH could be right. Some TLD registries, especially ccTLD registries, actually require your domain to be present/configured in Afternic's authoritative DNS for (before) the DNS pre-delegation check to succeed. Also, ns1.afternic.com and ns2.afternic.com have technical issues which you can circumvent using ns3/ns4 or ns5/ns6.

What's the TLD of the domain you're trying to change NS for; and which Afternic NS Set did you try?

I registered a .co domain and I only tried ns1 & ns2 afternic, I even tried SEDO & Namepros nameserver none of them worked

Exactly. Could you try NamePros Parking again by first adding the domain to NPP, and then change NS at your registrar? (in that order) Also try with ns3/ns4 or ns4/ns5.

Yes I added the domain first at NamePros, verified it by TXT record and when I try to add nameserver it gives out the same error

What does the error say?

It gives the same error

Unable to update DNS for the following reason: The set of NS records (["ns1.namefind.com." "ns2.namefind.com."]) present in the zone of domain xxx.co"

That's because you're using ns1.afternic.com and ns2.afternic.com, and @GoDaddy is incompentent configuring those nameservers.

Try with ns3/ns4 or ns5/ns6 as I mentioned earlier. All their nameservers respond with the same A records / IP addresses.

Great. Blame @GoDaddy. They won't fix, unfortunately.

Now you can change lander type from the Afternic dashboard.

Everyone is to blame I guess 😁 SEDO & Namepros too gave me errors at OVH.....

Changing nameservers should be easy, I've been trying to figure out since 3 days, support is useless they only paste the same thing anyway I got what I wanted & thanks to you ❤️

For some ccTLDs the order is important.

And in this case with Afternic, @GoDaddy is just incompetent.
