Can someone please explain this to me...

I am thinking about registering a domain simply because of Overture results (after searching on the keyword selector site)...

Now, lets say that the domain I want is something like eatingapplepie.com

Here is what the results of my search were ( I searched for Eating Apple Pie):

Searches done in October 2005
Count Search Term
61 american apple cutie eating pie shot

But if I search for eatingapplepie I get:

No suggestions for eatingapplepie.

So, is the domain eatingapplepie.com completely irrelevent to the search for Eating Apple Pie?

I find this a bit confusing, obviously...

Anyway, the actual domain I am considering has three words (one is 'The' so it is irrelevant, I guess)

and the actual results I get are:

Searches done in October 2005
Count Search Term
131 <one of my keywords> <the other keyword>
100 <one of my keywords> <another word> <the other keyword> <another word>

And, of course, when my three words are all together in the search I get nothing....

So, what does all this mean, is a domain that has some keywords that are actually searched for in the name worth anything?

Thanks!!

Thanks George,

I guess I should learn how to use another search a little better... :hehe:

You're very welcome - Overture really isn't your definition of a tool with a user-friendly, self-explanatory interface. :)

Oh, and thanks for the rep-up!

Sincerely,
George
