This a great sale for everyone involved, but these types of sales should be far more common with the number of category defining domains that exist (a lot). Maybe it is common, and we just don't hear about them.

It could been sold for more, but that can be said about many ultra premium domains.
This is a minimum end user price IMO.
End user price for this domain could be high 7 figures or low 8 figures easily.

Its a ROI of 400%, can you think of a single other asset which would match that return over 8 years?

$1m invested in gold at the lowest spot price in 2007, sold today, would return $1.9m.
