Well, as many of you know, I suffer from severe depression and have for many years.. often, I have the sensation of literally viewing the world in a detached sense, like watching everything from a distance or through a diving mask.
Anyone who suffers from clinical depression has most likely felt the same way at times.
I just read this interesting article on out of body experiences and how they may be caused by stimulation to certain areas of the brain so thought this could explain these weird sensations as well.
