What are the other Domain Aftermarket sites that are NOT compromised and have low commission rates?

Dan's already with GoDaddy and I don't want the GoDaddy Aftermarket network.

Thanks.

daaz, atom

Atom commission rate ranges from 15% to 30%. Large.

Is Daaz reputable? How many years in the business?

I haven't noticed anything about it in NamePros before.

atom is 7.5% for standard listing
I sold many domains with daaz years ago, support is VERY good.

I looked at the site just now.

How come it only has two listings for 4ls and it only has 1668 domain names?

I am looking at the Auctions page. Only two 4Ls.

Anyway, thanks for the reply.

Umm, only 6 auction listings. That 1668 means possible extensions.

The usual chicken and egg problem of marketplaces/platforms.
The original post doesn't refer to just auctions, though.

Yes. But that shows the quality of the platform and the type of domain names in the site, thus the type of the customers it would attract.

Two 4Ls for the auction service and only one of that is a .com says a lot.

The layout and the function of the site itself will be an indicator of the company's capacity to secure the site and the purchases and its capacity to handle big transactions.

For the LLLLs for example:
It would help if the site has the function to select CVCV, etc settings. I don't see any, from my end.

The domain names being shown are CCCCs. You have to spend a lot of time scouring for domain names that may be of interest.

Any way, this is from the perspective of somebody who wants to ensure the Domain Name Aftermarket Site I will post my domain names on is secure.

Thanks though @davidc1 for recommending the aftermarket site you know about

If you need a site with end users traffic for selling your domains you have afternic or sedo that's it.

Afternic's already branded under Godaddy though.

@enetwork Does Namecheap provide Domain Aftermarket Services?

I asked Namecheap Customer Service and they said you do but the payment processing is only done Via Paypal.

They also said that the Maximum Price for a Domain Name is $1,000,000 but if the Seller wants the domain priced higher than that, it can be requested from Namecheap.

May I ask if it's possible for the payment to be done directly to a bank?

Paypal or Online Money Processing channels are not safe for large amounts. It paves way to Money Laundering.

I am asking because Dan's migrating the Seller accounts to Afternic and Afternic is under the GoDaddy brand.

I do not like GoDaddy.

I am looking for other options and based on my history in domaining, the Domain Company which has always been reliable is Namecheap.

If you can provide the excellent customer service then you might also be able to provide that same level of excellence for the Domain Aftermarket industry.

Any way you can provide DIRECT DEPOSIT to BANK option to your Domain Aftermarket service?

By the way, what's the commission rate for Domain Aftermarket sales Namecheap processes?

Thanks.

I'm considering the NC marketplace as well, as I have many names with them. Anyone with experience in receiving payments from xxxx sales on NC through paypall? The commission on NC is 10%. Pros and cons in comparison to receiving money to your bank account?

I've been charged around 4.5% by PayPal when I received a payout from NameCheap, plus the hold, unlike from other marketplaces.

So, it's worth noting this fee.

Banks have stringent laws whereas Online Money processing sites are not that safe.

Money trail and data trail are required in banks.

If there are issues about the transactions, you can go after the bank (STRICT LAWS that protect bank depositors, bank account holders).

Banks check the source when there are large transactions. If the source is already your Paypal account, how will you explain to them where the money came from?

Also, if it's a PayPal transaction, who pays the fee?

Thanks, it doesn't sound appealing, unless NC offer a bank option.

Yes, that's why I tagged @enetwork, hoping they have or they will include a DOMAIN AFTERMARKET SERVICE Direct Deposit to Bank option.
