How much do you think I could get for that domain?

Between $100-$500 if youโ€™re willing to wait a few years.

You might want to edit the post. Is org.us.com really a domain name, or simply a sub-domain?

Unlimited numbers of sub-domaisn of course can be created free) so I don't see how it could have real value.

I don't understand what you are saying.

I bought org.us.com from namecheap. US.COM is an SLD. You can see where you can buy such domains here tld-list.com/tld/us.com

You can also see other available SLDs (co.uk, co.in etc) by using the filters here tld-list.com

us.com is a domain name however org.us.com is not a domain name. Try to register any random name at Godaddy with that format i.e. ddddd12222fhorg.us.com is not available. It is a name the owner of .us.com makes for free and sells for profit sometimes to people who think it's a real domain name..

Here you can see the available extensions on godaddy godaddy.com/domains/domain-extensions

They don't offer us.com extension.

Check on tld-list to see where you can buy a domain with the us.com extension

Namecheap on the other hand offers that extension

namecheap.com/domains/registration/results/?domain=213123org.us.com

Try asking Namecheap for a transfer auth code so you can sell it and transfer "org.us.com" to Godaddy. Other registrars do not offer it because it is NOT an extension. Sorry it's of no true value let alone the 8k someone posted above

Oh okay... Guess I will try selling it on namecheap for registration fee

Technically itโ€™s a sub domain, but the us.com registrar is setup to allow the use of the sub domains as if it were a regular domain. Some other registrars, like Network Solutions, have partnered with us.com to offer registrations too.

you learn something new everyday Thanks @Brian L. @namemarket

Yes, the sub-domain sales posted by Brian L are surprising news to me. With that said, I don't see why the owner of us.com domain really needs to do a special setup to sell them because I see no reason why others also could not do it.

If you have a server (even a shared server) you should be able easily make basically unlimited numbers of free sub-domains. I think with various web-hosting accounts you can make and offer for sale sub-domains. of course it makes it easier to sell if your domain is a million dollar name like us.com is.

am shocked tbh had no idea such thing had a market looking at the past sales that Brian shared
26 sales registered on namebio that's more than some of the new domain extensions that are being created everyday
do you know of any other examples like this ?

when you have a multi million dollar domain you can easily do stuff like that.

This is a very confusing domain IMO. You basically have (3) extensions together .org.us.com.

It is also a subdomain. .US.COM sales are few and far between.
I don't see much potential for it.

Well, he could also now create net.org.us.com or info.biz.net.org.us.com ))
