If I were to register a domain name with the word 'jobs' in it, which TLD would be a better fit, .org or .net?

Good question. I think it depends on the nature of the job(s).
Basically, a job related more to public service etc would be an .org and all other
"hardware" things would use .net.

I suggest you register both of them, if you can.

I'd go with .org

.net just seems to have the reputation that its a .com wannabe, and reg the .net if its a pretty good name, but .org gives you an independent, clean identity for your site, so i'd say take .org if you had to pick one.

I agree, I'd stay away from .org unless it relates well to that extension or it's just for a personal website. With this being a jobs site, I'd lean towards .net. (Just my two cents worth.)

Well it depends on what types of jobs you are talking about, if it is fundraising or charity jobs then .org would fit better.

If it is any other kinds of jobs, then .net would be better.
