.org domains - Worth it?

i've spotted a few 4L .org domains that could be picked up as hand reg but wondered if its worth it? I know .org is not considered that amazing an extension but previous sales on namebio for it look good & 4L in anything is hard to come by now

what does everyone think - is it worth a risk for reg fee?

Yesterday all the premium (both Chinese and Western) .orgs in these patterns were bought out: aabc, abbc, abcc (consecutive repeats).

The ones being bought out right now are 4l.orgs with letters that are both Chinese and Western premium, i.e. b,c,d,f,g,h,l,m,n,p,r,s,t. There's 28,561 of them but there's approximately only 1.4% left. I did a scan on a random set of 2000 yesterday and only 287 were available.

I've bought a few of these but I'm not touching any with vowels in, even cvcvs.

Regarding the chips and western premiums; beside chinese market, it also has a potential for end-users. Because org is an established extension for organizations and preffered extension for companies, conducting charity etc. facilities.

If you like them I would say pick them up. They're being bought up same as .net.

At the moment, it's probably worth about what you paid. If LLLL.org sells out, it will probably be worth 2-4x more than what you paid. In a couple months, who knows.
