Ordering of keywords in domain name?

Does the value of two great keywords together, yet in the worng order, override the fact that they are in the wrong order? For example, let's say a great name would be CookingClass.com. That is taken, but ClassCooking.com is available. Is it worth buying, especially if I were to use the name mostly for an adsense site and high SEO placement, and not a site that I needed anyone to memorize?

Or would I be able to do just as well with BestCookingClass.com, or maybe [whatever]Cooking.com and have lots of url's like [whatever]Cooking.com/class/?

Thanks!

hmm i dont know.. it just depends on the 2 great words...

worldcup.com is good.. but cupworld.com is bad

but pokeronline.com is good and onlinepoker.com is also good

it really depends on the 2 words

So, you're only speaking of how it sounds, not of the search engine question. I'd like to know how it affects search engines.

I dont think it would affect the seaarch engines as long as the keywords are there, doesnt matter about the order.

I am no seo expert, but the search engines display the search results depending on the "relevance" to the term being searched for.

So if in your page text you have several instances of the term ' class cooking'
and the search term is 'class cooking' then in all probability your site will be displayed in the results somewhere, perhaps in the first few pages. If however, the search term is 'cooking class' the same page will feature further down the results.

The domain name will be given some "weight" in regards to the "relevance" of the search term, but the search engines strive to produce the most relevant results and would always give more weight to the actual content of the page
rather than the domain name.

In answer to your question, does the order matter, I would say it depends on what the search engine user is looking for and types into the search box.
