I have the domain ENZR.com, and I was planning on using it to develope it for personal uses, but for the heck of it, I decided to look for people whom I could possibly sell to.

I came across two different IT company/sites...well actually now that I look, they are the same company with two totally sperate sites? Well all the more to sell them the domain but yes heres my question...

If their company is ENZER (technologies), I couldn't get into any sort of TM problem if I were to try to sell my ENZR.com domain to them, would I?

Let me know in your opinions if its a issue or not. And also, if not, think they'd bite on it?

Thanks,
-Jake

Yes, you potentially could have legal issues with the domain depending on what you used it for. I personally would NOT approach the company about purchasing the domain--at least not until you think through all of the possible consequences.

Really? Enzer and ENZR?

They are Enzer Technologies and their domains are like MyEnzer and EnzerGlobal...

Hope for others opinions on this.

It's a touchy situation.. if there's a possibility of confusion between your domain and theirs AND they hold the TM, they could "potentially" have a case, depending on the useage. Now, seeing as you are attempting to draw a comparison between your domain and theirs by offering to sell it to them, well.. I just wouldn't. You might be ok.. lots of others know more about this than I do. But I'd err on the side of caution and forgo pointing it out to them.

well
if u are really using it in bad faith of them then you are in deepshit trouble..
otherwise if its in good faith ..then u shud be safe i guess..but u just never know what will happen next like mikerowesoft.com

No bad faith, bought it cause it sounds like my last name, then simply found them later.

Thanks alright though I'm building a design site around it.

But if I develope a site around it which has nothing to do with them, then ask them down the line if they're interested, its no TM violation as it was origionally of something else? << that dont make sense, but yah, thanks for opinions...

If you have a legit site with it, then they can't WIPO you, (but can still sue you, as they always can). But don't try selling it to them, trying to sell it to them is bad faith.
