Well, been rehearsing for what seems like forever, but tomorow night is opening..time has finally come.. and after many a near disaster, i think we have a real, viable play :D
about 7 days ago, one of our principles walked on us right at the beginning of rehearsal (he didnt want his pants hemmed-actors!). Another of our guys wife was diagnosed with cancer...etc.
Tonight we had our "press Premiere" so it was basically a full dress rehearsal with like... 65 or so people watching. Fun fun! lol
Anyways, we're getting good reviews so far. LA and NY times, local and state papers have come for pics and interviews. Dale Waserman gave interviews because he is so closely affiliated with this showing... lots of press..lots to do...but Lord... so much fun
Havent had a night off in.... not sure how many days.
But you know the old saying "All work and no play makes on Fly Over The Cuckoos Nest" lol... and I think thats the directors goal
