Hello Fellas,

I was amazed at how many people actually type in "online..." before typing in their requirements.
Which got me wondering - is it wise to reg' a name with two or even three words, if they follow the words, "online"?

E.G. onlinedeckchairs.com...onlinebuyandsell.com...

Thanks to any replies.

i belive it is not worth but that depends on the word because if the words are to long and hard to remember then it is not worth because many people could forget about it.

It depends on what word you will attach to the word online. Like music or videos or movies, they can be downloaded or viewed online, so the word online goes with them. However, things like deckchairs don't really go with online imo.

Even then there is great potential in the word 'online' with the day by day increasing use of Internet in our lives.

So all those type-ins I get for "onlineTVpoker.com" are all a mistake ,"Damn IT"

I think they might be things like internet shopping sites, not sure though.

Well, it depends on the name and the extensions available. Two-word domains (Online"something") are nice names. For example: onlinegames, onlinechat, onlineshop, onlineresources... are all great names as well as they are ALL gone. :imho:

ya...your other keywords must fit in the category of online like for eg. sexonline.com, or booksonline.com rather then eyeonline or lightonline.com

Well, online... will make the domain very long.

Hard to reach out to users, but might be memorable.
