Not sure how keenly Mobiers have been following recent developments in the Online Video/Internet TV space. To name a few:
1. Bill Gates' prediction that the Internet will totally change TV in 5 years;
2. This morning's announcement by TiVo that it will partner with Amazon UnBox to start testing downloads of TV shows from the web to TV sets;
3. The recent announcement by Joost (led by the Founders of Skype) to start offering online shows in an integrated format (search, social networking, etc);
4. Walmart's video downloads at walmart.com/videodownloads.
There have also been others such as Netflix and companies like MovieLink, CinemaNow and Amazon Unbox all already operated in the space.
Just wondered how Mobiers were interpreting these developments, if the general feeling is that they will help certain extensions, which ones and what kind of strategies (investing) were being employed.
A mouthful but please feel free to drop a line.
