What are your thoughts on .online domains?
It's very generic and not as ugly as .xyz for example, so that's a plus - but perhaps a little too long to have any success...
Plus most good names are either unavailable or premium...

They have been sold out since Feb 2016 and anything that drops is backordered or reserved.

I have a TON of these, and with renewals as they are, I'm letting hundreds of them go for a few bucks a pop, if anyone's looking... Perhaps they can be transferred cheap at west.cn still, I'm not sure... I do know that west.xyz isn't an option anymore, though.

no, all drop LLL.online will be catched by Chinese registrars,and only in west.xyz u can see the auctions after dropcatching, the other chinese registrars does not support english .

Even though the .online sales have been slow, I do have faith in them gaining popularity down the line... all it will take is for one or two well-known brands to start going live with them. I also noticed that in in 2016 there were a good few german word .online sales ..I have more details about the German word .online sales and also namebio link regarding how common the word online is used in German domains on the sales thread mentioned on my signature... I suspect... there is a possibility that the German market might start adopting more .online domains...

i have renewed most of my .online on west.cn , each one only 1.8$/one year today ,
if u can also use west.cn via google translation, suggest only renew for one year , when chinese blackfriday 11.11 , Radix may also plan to do a promotion.

They sure have a lot of reserved domains in .online. I'm not sure how we did it but some guy in China got 666 and I was able to get 000 but all the other's are reserved. 111,222,333,444,555,777,888,999 all reserved..

I see, the ones I was looking at said reserved. Who.is and a couple others are not showing correct information but ICANN Whois does show it registered.

Anyone know what they sold for??
