What are your thoughts on .online domains?
It's very generic and not as ugly as .xyz for example, so that's a plus - but perhaps a little too long to have any success...
Plus most good names are either unavailable or premium...

Just checked the Registrar stats, earlier this week there were 141K total .online hand reg'd, today it shows 151k so that's a nice jump. http://www.registrarstats.com/TLDDomainCounts.aspx

Checking the registrations again, today we were at 157.5K. At this rate, .Online should be around 200k registered by the time it's one year anniversary comes around in May.

I have kinofilme.online on SEDO ends today it's only at $100 I purposely listed it with no reserve and am now having regrets. Kinofilme translates to Movies. kreuzfahrten.online sold for $3,041 recently which translates to Cruises. I assumed that "movies" is a more generic term than cruises and would sell for at least the same amount if not more.. I guess my ASSumptions were not on par.

FWIW General Availability didn't start until 8/26/2015, so really we're less than 6 months in.

I'm liking the activity we are starting to see with .online! It's still too early to know if it hangs on long-term but it seems to makes sense for keyword type-ins. Picked up:
bookcruises.online, mathtutoring.online, fileaclaim.online, secret affair.online.

I guess we all need to see more sales and developed end users using .online.

If ntldstats is to be trusted, .loan was not even in the picture a few weeks ago... It suddenly appeared with crazy reg numbers, got ahead of .online and then slowed down like a week ago.

I think it will still have momentum after the promo is gone. Before everything went to $1, 1N to 4N was already taken, as well as 12k of the 17.5k of the LLL's, along with 1L, 2L. I think 4L and 5N might take a little longer, but that has more to do with the sheer number of available domains. 4L is a tough one to crack there are almost half a million possible combos and 5N has 100k. Even other popular extensions are still trying to break these numbers.

I was trying to reg the shortest numbers I could find but for the sale price now decided this one was not too bad considering the length and niche even tho has hyphens its logical I guess.

I just recently figured out that they have .online now and I am loving it! It definitely has a lot of potential for international names too since online is a fairly universal word and it goes well with a lot of different meanings.

I picked up AktuelleNachrichten.online (300k+ searches translated Current News) and FussballLive.online (100k+ Live Soccer) and I will definitely be holding on until the right time

LLL is down to 712 and I just checked registats and were at 159,345. By tomorrow we should be over 160k and that means 20,000 hand registered in a week. I posted 141k last Sunday. Doing good for one of the newest gtlds!

Yesterday we got an extra boost with just under 3,500 hand registered. 144 were 3L, I wonder if people are moving into 4L and 5N territory picking out the top chips already.

3,500 is pretty BIG and actually beyond normal... Wohooo
