Jeff. Here is some advice I got from a seasoned investors and I've learned so far.
1. Stay away from hyphens - too risky. Double Hyphens even worse
2. Shorter is better
3. Aged names are better, so instead of focussing on registering brand new names (hand-registered names) , focus on names that are expiring.

Thanks for the info, I saw the domain on expireddomains.net with good back links and CPC. I plan to develop the domain with content etc. Is this still considered a bad domain if I plan on doing that?

Are you are web developer?
I am not, so my opinion is just based on what I've read.
Hyphenated names will always lose out to non hyphenated names from an SEO standpoint. Someone else who is a web developer should be able to give you a better answer.

Yes I am a web developer, but I don;t know about the hyphenated names.
