Website Description
Online comparison shopping. Compare prices, compare products, read product reviews and choose the best offer. The products are taken from shopzilla API, but the API can be changed if you want. It takes about 3 weeks to change the API. The current revenue from the API is about $50/month, more or less. You can also insert banners and other type of ads like google, yahoo etc to earn more revenue.
Website is coded in PHP with MySQL databases, from scratch, it does not use any open source.
Website content and products are easy manageable through the admin panel/CMS.
CMS includes:
1.easy to manipulate categories (see screen shot)
2.easy to manipulate and add different type of site pages (see screen shot)
3.easy to manipulate different type of boxes and add other boxes (see screen shot)
4.easy to manipulate different type of banner/ads and see statistics
5.easy to set the SEO title and meta tags for each different page
6.easy to add more content to each page to make the website more SEO and have more unique content
In the price I included the following:
a. domain name for the following 5 years as you can see on who.is
b. logo in different formats including print formats
c. front-end and back-end (CMS) script (php, ajax, javascript, css and mysql database)
d. free configuration and installation when you will move the domain name and website on your own hosting server
e. I will explain you exactly how everything works and how you can manage and update website
f. free hosting until the end of 2009
g. free support until the end of 2009. In this we do not include any enhancements or changes to the current script but things like deleting cache files, hosting support (e.g. When server fails) etc.
The whole script is done from scratch by my own company, but I have no more time to manage ShopQuiz.com, so I decided to sell the whole business. With some advertising on the internet the website can reach $1000 revenue/month in rather short time.
I did not have time to advertise it, but due to the fact that there are thousands and thousands of pages generated by the API (and you may also easily add your own web content pages), the website traffic increases quickly from week to week.
Traffic Statistics
Please find attached some traffic statistics from statcounter.com. Right now there are around 100 unique visitors/month but this number increases very quickly from month to month.
Revenue Statistics
The revenue comes from bizrate (shopzilla company). Please find attached screen shot to see the revenue received on May for April.
