Hello,

I recently (Like 40 minutes ago) finished my website, or at least the BETA version.
I still need to add a little bit more content, but i'm investigating for that =)

My website is a PTC (Pay-to-click) showcase website. Basically, i show people different programs with their benefits, etc.
But what makes mine different is that i focus in quality, and not quantity like all the rest. I only add website with many payment proofs, and that have on the market for a while if possible.

Onimu.com

Some feedback would be appreciated =)

Here you have a little screenshot of the index.

You have a great site style. Black color matched your site concept "the secret of making money". Good job :tu:

Just my 2 cents here. Maybe you can use a larger font size and a brighter font color which can be easily read by visitors. Also, some pictures or even a short video can attract more attentions when users first come to your site. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for the review!
I'll take those advices in consideration =)

I can honestly say I like it. The logo seems a bit generic, but, overall, the site is great.

One thing I would change, however, would be the color of links. They seem a bit too dark to me, and that's using a really contrasty monitor. So, some of your other readers might not be able to see the links quite well.

Another thing that's kind of bothering me, although you don't need to change it, is the Favicon. It looks great, but seems too glowy, if you know what I mean.

Great site, great design, great execution.

Nice site, clean and simple. I too have a black site and can't find anything wrong with this one.

If you appreciate my feedback add some rep points B-)

Yeah, it does seem kinda generic.. but i really didn't know what to do... hehe. I tried to make something kind of 'japanese' style, because of the name.. that sounds kinda like that in my opinion :P

I'll add the link suggestion to my possible to-do list hehe.

Oh, yeah it does look like that. I thought it was "blury" but i guess that's true. I'll see what i can do!

Thank you!

I really like it's simplicity of the design. Blue title hurts my eyes a little though

I actually like this site. When I first saw it, I was thinking it was too plain, but then it grew on me. The only thing I would change is maybe get the text a bit bigger / lighter colored for readability, and make the fooer bar stay at the bottom: http://fortysevenmedia.com/blog/archives/making_your_footer_stay_put_with_css/

That site should give you an idea of what I mean.

Good site.

This is nit picky, but here are some things to watch for:

1) The colour contrast level is too low. Try using the Colour Contrast tool (http://snook.ca/technical/colour_contrast/colour.html) to find a better contrast level for your text.

2) The colour of the logo image doesn't match the colour of your page background. This is likely because you're using different image types with different colour management settings (the logo is a .png, the background appears to be a .gif). This will cause big headaches with colour.

3) Your items don't follow any set design pattern. The left side of your logo, main section, and navigation should line up, or have some relationship to each other. Same with the far right side of the content and navigation.

4) On the rounded corners of the content section, there are dark triangles where the colours don't match the page background. This is likely again because of the type of images you're using. Try changing all of them to the same image type, and this should fix the problem.

5) The green colour on the "Paying Sites" page, and the red on the "contact form" page sort of come out of left field. Try sticking with the cyan. It's a good colour and matches the dark grey you've chosen. If you do use other colours, try to match them a bit better in a colour pallete. Try www.colourlovers.com for tips!

6) I really like the footer, especially with the horizontal line that looks almost shadowy-ish.

The design looks appealing, and is functional, and those are the main things. Fix up these minor things and you'll have a great looking website on your hands. Any question, feel free to ask!

Thank you!, the color text is on my to-do list, and as everybody's saying i should change it, i guess it's a must hehe.
For the footer, i'm already working on it!, i didn't realize about it till you said so. Btw, where did you see that error?, the newsletter or somewhere else?

Thanks!

Wow, huge help!
I suppose you're using IE, because of the banner error you saw. I didn't know it was caused due to the file format, i'll change that in a minute, thanks!

I never thought the line-up thing was a big deal, it's not like people will really care that much about it, but i guess i have to change it, i want my site to be as good as possible =)

About the little black triangles, i did notice that but i'm not really sure how to fix it. I'm not sure also if they're or not the same image type. I'll check it out as soon as i finish with the rest and try to fix it too.

I guess it's a really good idea to change the green to Cyan, but the red, i really need some tips there. should i also change it to cyan, or make it a different contrast of red?... because i really want that to be noticed.

Thank you very much for that awesome review, it really helps a lot, it's one of the best i recieved comparing to te other 4 - 5 i posted this =)

EDIT: @ USMC_1833
I edited the CSS with the footer code, but it looks kind of ugly.. take a look Please

I never use IE, and take great offence to that allegation!!

Haha, just kidding. I don't take offence, but I don't use IE either. I'm using Safari 3 on a MacBook.

If you're using Firefox, know that it handles colour management in images different than any other browser. So you'll want to make sure you test in as many browsers as you can (Firefox, Safari, IE, and Opera are good first steps). Also, check out browsershots.org for more!

It's not that people will necessarily notice the line-up, but that's also not necessarily the point of design. Design most often is about getting out of the way of content, taking away as many possible distractions as possible so that people can see what they've come to see: the information. Check out my blog at www.patdryburgh.net for an example. I use 1 image in the entire design, and yet the content is clearly laid out. Everything lines up, has a purpose and a place.

As for the red, maybe trying more of a magenta colour? It would fit the greys and blues a bit nicer.

I hope that helps!

Haha, sorry xD
Alright, i'll check that site out... and happy anniversary? xD
I'll change the lineup too hehe, and also the colors thanks =)

Magenta doesn't look that nice apparently xD
Any other suggestion for that color?

Also, i'll remove that footer change for now, will try to implement it later.

I changed the images to .gif as you said, do they look fine now?

Also i changed the color to cyan, please take a look and give me your opinion. (I left the first green so you can compare, and also a turquoise after the cyan xD).

EDIT: Uploaded the banners to my server.
Bux.to is down right now so i can't get the banner. I'll have to upload all the banners to my server (self sugegstion :P)

EDIT2: Changed the font color to one more bright. =)

Ok.. for starters i like the profit model behind it. i do not know if others noticed it..

I like the layout, i personally have never been able to work a dark layout. however i do see that the text needs to be a little brighter. Content is fine but more is always a plus.

Good Job, and keep up the good work.

Overall 6/10

The footer thing I noticed on your main site. I use 1680x1050 res monitor and the front page content is above the fold, but the footer is way up near the bottom of the content instead of at the bottom of the page like a footer should be.

USMC_1833, thanks!
Can you please post a screenshot or something, so i can see the actual size "missing"?
Thanks! ^^

@-Ray-:
The text has been brightened already, i'm waiting to see what people think about the current brightness.
Also, recieved your PM and replied.
Thanks!

Ok, thank you very much!

I tried editing it a while ago, when you first posted, but the result wasn't quite nice.
It worked, but there was an erorr or something.
I'll keep trying once i finish with my current edition.

Thanks!

overall the layout are good (i have not read the post of others here so my judgement will not be affected)
i too am an owner, but on first page you forgot to highlight like in bulleted form the benefits (monetary) like percentage of each level (if it's multi-tiered), the bonus on signup, the payout as well and types of payment

Hi Will!,

Thanks for that =)
Well, all that information is right on the other page, the one of "paying sites".
You can find it here: http://onimu.com/paying
