I agree Vurg. One syllable domains themselves are a limited group. They are usually unique and easy to remember, IMO.

Easier to pronounce = Easier to Remember
A one syllable LLLL.com is generally superior to a 2 syllable LLLL.com much in the same was as an LLL.com is generally superior to an LLLL.com.

Most of the names on that list are easily pronounceable and highly brandable. I'm a fairly large investor in one syllable LLLL.coms having about 10k currently invested solely in 1 syllable LLLL.coms (there are some unreported purchases of mine that fall into this 1k+ category).

There aren't very many (relative to the 456k+ out there) LLLL.coms that are truly 1 syllable in English. It's somewhat like LLLL pronounceables in general though -- everyone thinks their unpronounceable stuff is pronounceable!

My observation is that when the sales of LLLL.com are over $1000 ~1/3 of the sales are one syllable but when you add the sales of $350+, it drops to ~1/6 of the sales. It appears that a large percentage of the dictionary LLLL.com sales are one syllable. Not all one syllable domains are created equal. In my opinion the test of a great one syllable domain is the telephone conversation test. If your listener can spell the domain when hearing it on the phone without being told the letters, then it has great brandable potential. Generally I try and avoid silent letters with these domains but an "h" on the right side of a vowel can be quite nice. Double letters are good at the end of a one syllable domain.

Shrek is my favourite example of a great brandable one syllable name that didn't have any meaning 20 years ago.

I think bwox, yolx and tahx are the most obvious one syllable domains. LLOV.com and SSUX.com are great domains reguardless but some people will choose to seperate the first letter and then it becomes two syllables.

I read Lyoj as "Lie-Oj"
