.tv One of the top sales of 2005 has a great looking site

www.az.tv purchased on SEDO for $15,000 in 2005 is a great site for the football fan in Holland.

AZ is my favorite soccer club, when in Holland I go visit home games there. The owner, Dirk Scheringa, is one of the richest people in Holland and bought the club a few years ago as he was a fan all his life and the club was in financial trouble.

He made some huge financial injections in the club, like signing up good soccer players and building a totally new stadium last year.

The thing I like most of him is that he kind of 'hates' Ajax, he even sold a player to another club for less then Ajax offered

Someone from Arizona had it for a few years, so that guy beat me to it

Just tried to look up an interview where the owner of AZ mentioned he bought az.tv and in which he also predicts a very nice future for .tv, but can not find it, sorry.

I know he also bought www.frisia.tv (name of one of his companies) for an undisclosed amount. If you check this website you can see a link to the former owner of frisia.tv, who is now 'forced' to have a new website (frisiamakelaars.nl).

Frisia.tv is standing on it's own and frisia.com is pointing to frisia.nl.

Always nice that a person like Dirk Scheringa, who is well known in Holland and has an estimated fortune of EUR 617 million, around $850 million dollars(http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirk_Scheringa - last line, sorry it's in Dutch) predicts a nice future for .tv and buys up .tv names for his own companies.

Maybe a little bit a long story to tell you that in my honest opinion az.tv was way undersold
