And it's funny how I wanted that domain name too...

I like it!

You are welcome to use my instructional video on the website. Grace Delete Tutorial.

I'm going with mid $xx to low $xxx. Nice hand reg. IMO.

Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that this is a FREE appraisal. This is a guess at quick flip resale value not an unrealistic end-user price. Often times my appraisals are rushed, too low, or too high. Sometimes my advice is totally wrong and occasionally downright dumb. If the post stamp is after 5:00pm EST, the chances are even greater that inaccuracies will occur due to blood alcohol levels.

I like it. The site should be developed like the old gong show. Microguy can sit at his computer each evening and take appraisal requests. If he doesn't like your domain, you get gonged to the magical world of the grace deletes.

Who's Grace?

Anyway, the name has 10 characters, which is well over halfway to 14 characters. Certainly that decreases its value by the degree of proximity to 14 characters, probably down to about only 25% of the value it would have if it were a pure zero character short domain (I have many of these gems). But it is worth more than a 4 character name, which as everyone knows, is worthless.

Actually, I do know a Grace. She's a singer who charges $1200 to sing for 20 minutes. She'd be rich except she hasn't worked in years. So grace delete the name if you.....

Ah, I get it!

Grace delete. Cool! Except I think the preferred spelling is "grays delete." Hey, but if the typo's cool with you, go for it!

This was not meant to be taken seriously, or without a doctor's prescription

Ha Ha
shows you about timing; I PM'd MicroGuy a few days ago telling him this dn was avail, thinking he might want to corner the market and create an info site about grace-delete policies of top registrars. But by the time he checked his PM's and looked for the name, it was taken :)

Small niche domaining term, some small interest to domainers. GraceDeletion.com is taken also. Not worth a lot but an interested domainer might offer low to mid xx for it. As a comparison, I hand regged HandRegged.com (ha ha) over a year ago, and auctioned it at Namepros for $55. Always regret I lost it. FYI that owner let the name drop a year later, though I didn't see it drop, and another NP member hand regged it yet again.
I like the name graceDelete.com but it's a very pinpointed niche and not much value unless you have a very strong dev plan.
:)

mid xx, might be a pain to update it each time a registrar changes their GD policy. May be better to write some of the ways to spot a name that should be GD. Enduser? would be a minisite king lol

I think that, as a rule, domainers tend to over-value domain-related domain names. We are, as Bannen said, a very small niche.

On the other hand, since domainers over-value these, that may help you if you decide to sell it. But I would wait until the market picks up before flipping.

If you develop, it would make an interesting name for a registrar (or maybe even a reseller). If you could add a feature that assists a customer in deletes, making it transparent and simple, that may be a selling point. Since many new domainers are unaware of the grace delete, they might even think you are unique in offering it.

I tend not to Flip names. So I will be keeping it.
Good idea about using with reseller site. As I operate 3 different resellers sites it will be part of the Information subsites.

You could just post a list of my domains on there.....lol
seems most of them lately get the "grace-delete" comment.

.....sorry i didn't notice it as sarcasm , the mindset of some domainers is that they are scared to look outside the box
