Can you verify that the user limit is actually 100? According to several sources (e.g., Google), the no-longer-offered free edition offers a maximum of 10 users. Additionally, business accounts have some extra features that free accounts don't have, but $200 would still be a good deal for 10 free accounts.

Right now, I'm paying $50/year each for 2 business accounts. It adds up fast! There's no way I could afford 10 users, and I could certainly make good use of them.

Its actually not impossible to have the free edition with more than a 10 user limit. It is however very rare. As a matter of fact I myself have a google apps free account and I have the ability to add 200 mailboxes and I can give you a screenshot of my subscription as proof if you'd like.

Heres how this was possible. For those who signed up for google apps free edition when the product was in beta, the accounts came with a 10 user limit. But since the product was in beta, if you wanted to request more licenses, you could send a request to google with a reason why you felt you needed more users. If they agreed with your explanation, they would increase your limits. This practice was stopped after the beta period and whoever got the increases got to keep them.

So it is right that these were accounts with a 10 user limit, but under rare circumstances, higher limit accounts do exist. Perhaps for the right price, I might consider selling you mine as well. ;)

Yes, 100 or even 200 user limit do exist. I'm selling a 100 user account for a fixed price.

Actually Snowbird when Google Apps was first introduced in 2006 the user limit that was given out as default was 200. This was reduced soon after in 2007 to 100 users, which was again reduced in Jan 2009 to 50 users. In 2011 this was again reduced to 10 users and in December 2012 Google Apps standard edition was removed altogether, however all existing account were grandfathered as the Google Apps Standard (free) edition.

So while they are not that easy to come by they are available and out there. I myself have a few domains with 100 and 200 Google Apps Standard (Free) edition and will be looking to sell the domains sometime soon.

I just want to add that accounts with 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 users are NOT that rare :D I have a dozen of them. I also have some with 500, 1000, and 2000 users.

Oh, and there were times when requests for more users were approved automatically..

Im just stating the facts as they were when I myself signed up. When I signed up it was 10 users and there was a section where you could make a request for more users. Then they would ask how many more you wanted and you put into the box how much you wanted and then google would respond with what they felt was reasonable. However it worked before this is before my knowledge. ;)

But since this is a for sale thread and not a discussion thread, I will not be replying any more in here as I don't want to hijack. For those interested in talking about google apps itself, maybe we can create a new thread for that out of respect for Springfire.
