Enom free .info drops

Hi All:

I've read that enom gave away about a million free .info domains with all other regs and that these are dropping now.

Could this be the reason for all these drops? I've noticed quite a few tradename .infos in the drops.

I bought: SearchIndex.info

I would like to set up a directory of developed info site swith content. These sites would need to be reviewed to make sure they are of a certain quality worth sending people to. Even if these are mini-sites it would help create value for all info domain holders by showcasing .info websites together.

I've been following .info drops for 18 months now - nothing unusual about these lists, if anything slightly less quality. Always around 6k .infos drop each day = 2m pa. = approx 25% of total registered? (cf. 45k .coms per day/7k .nets/5k .orgs).

More than 450 NNNNN.info dropped today, I can't make a list since it would take me at least an hour to compile.

Some Good .ifo domains I own

Hi

In my limited experience the info market is a very specific niche.

One recent sale for me was miamirestaurants.info for about $200.

Can you identify a business that would need these specific domains?
I think info domains need to have a domain name that directly meets a specific business need.
