Official Curl Site Got Ddos Attack

I usually read the official curl site to learn more how to use it, but this morning the page is different and when refreshed it says

The main curl.haxx.se site is currently unavailable. The network hosting the site was a victim of a fierce DDoS-attack from around 13:43 CET on Friday the 5th of December to around 17:40 CET Sunday. Things are not yet up to speed after that.

Until things sort out, please be patient and try out the (half-baked) curl2.haxx.se mirror.

We hope to have this problem sorted out "soon".
