The BBC Article about Obestatin.
Long story short, Ghrelin is the hormone in the human body that causes hunger, and Obestatin is the fairly recently discovered hormone that seems to counteract Ghrelin. Granted it has only been tested in mice, and probably not even tested thoroughly enough in mice to start testing on humans, but nonetheless, I got both names (bought from their previous owners) as well as their plurals (typos + in case ghrelin and obestatin ever turn into classes of hormones), some related names (AntiGhrelin.com, BlockGhrelin.com, etc.) as well as some potential drug names for a future drug using Obestatin based either on Obestatin or obese (Obelean.com, Obestop.com, Obestrol.com, etc.).
Anyhow, I got everything a while back and have more or less just been sitting on them, waiting for more Obestatin news. I wanted to know what the potential value of Obestatin.com and the rest would be if Obestatin should be proven to suppress hunger in humans, as well as their value currently with the "left hanging" feel of them right now. I look forward to seeing some opinions on this. Thank you!
One last note: OVT for obestatin topped out at about 900 for the month when the news broke, and is now a meager 54. Ghrelin was already known about then and so it's been consistently high xxx to low x,xxx OVT each month. Ghrelin has 514,000 Google while Obestatin has only 18,900 (which topped out at about 34,000 in the week or two after the news broke).
