Would names like this be good for city portals. The dash might not be not be so great for type ins, but it does make these names easier to read and more noticeable for people to click on if they showed up in search engine results. If that is the case then I am willing to look at serious offers in the six figure range.

I'm not fond of the dash but I would prefer LA-CA.mobi for the second one for convenience. Take it from a native, everyone there just calls it LA.

I do not think they are good at all for .mobi ... IMO. The dashes, the state abbreviations.. they're not very appealing.

There aren't that many choices available for city portals with most of the major cities being on the reserved premium list.

I agree, but the shorter version I suggested would be much better. It's still available if you want it.

I had considered the shorter version before, but I figured that the full version is more formal, I got the shorter version too just to cover all angles. Thanks for refreshing my memory.

I had also mentioned in my first post that these might not be that great for type ins with having the dash, but would these catch anyone's attention if they showed up in the search results.
