Thanks, I got 05-4 and 06-7. Those looked like pretty easy to remember and type in domains for cell phone users. These are definately one domain name I'm going to hang onto though.

I've got 12 now and I'm just going to hold onto them all and use them as a forwarder to any websites I develop. Seems to me that one day people might think of them as one of the worlds shortest and rarest phone number domains!

I think the dash looks pretty good since phone numbers in the US always have a dash in them and they are pretty easy to say in advertising. On your touch tone phone dial zero 5 dash 4 dot com (instead of mesotheliomacancerlawsuits dot com)

N-N-N.com were sold long before but N-NN.com are much prettier and will have more success in long time. N-N-N.coms are now hyped. Have somebody tried to sell any N-NN.com so far? I will try to put to auction 1 or 2 in 6 months.

Those who missed their chance on them are trying to suggest the remaining types are better?

No value has been stamped on them yet, so there is no chance for N-NN & NN-N yet.
There are many of them left i believe or keep being thrown back in pool.

N-NN & NN-N have their uses of course and good for dates, b'days etc, but N-N-N needs to find a value first. I would say wait a few months for all the types to settle down, prices will then become clearer

I'll be the first to admit, I don't know of anyone that's gotten more than $25 for one of these. I see their value a couple years down the road. That's another reason I'm only getting 12. I think someday they may be very big since 0545 is worth about $400 and I've seen some numbers go into the thousands. But, the dash definately is the a major drawback at this time.

Of course no. They were sold out first because L-L-L.coms where first sold out. Then people said Let's buy out them! L-L-L is balanced hyphens domain, numberd don't need to be balanced N-N-N is a strange formula one-hyphen-two-hyphen-three and Google thinks it's a formula not a search request That kills N-N-N completly.

with numeric domains there are a host of uses and applications.

N-N-N is balanced. No question.

The reason NN-N N-NN L-LL & LL-L weren't hit on straight away is because imho, they are not as attractive

The buyer didn't even check the LL-L.com page where the seller had it for $250

I think imho the N-NN & NN-N market best area is for birthdays and to initially sell on ebay tbh.

I see N-N-N.com as perfect for cabfirms or something, where a simple memorable address is needed that can't be mistaked, any product would work.

For example i own 1-5-0.com

Imagine as a really nice logo on a car sailing past or truck

That depend on the situation I think. In terms of date domains, I think dash would make it perfect, e.g. 24-7.com, 5-17.com etc.

I'm looking everywhere for numbers in real life:
phone numbers: 34-56-78, or 345-678, and no one invented 3-4-5-6-7-8 because it will be harder to remember. N-N-N is a three-number domain and N-NN is a two-number domain. and NNN.com is actually one-number domain. Perhaps Americans have another mindset? Those pounds, miles, dimes, inches etc... I can't understand them...

I think us Americans like things unbalanced because we have short attention spans. In fact for most people it's easier to remember two short unbalanced sets of numbers like 345-5645 than 3455-5645 or especially 3455645. At least I know it is for me. But on the other hand, I'd remember 3-4-5 more easily than 34-5 because the dashes practically scream to me the number as they are really emphasized by the dashes.

My instant view about N-NN.com/NN-N.com and N-N-N.com is I see N-NN.com/NN-N.com as a four character domain and N-N-N.com as a five character domain.

In terms of aesthetics, N-N-N.com seems more balanced but at the same time, two dash for a five character domain seems redundant.

What about NNNNN.com's? It looks like these may be all registered fairly soon, there are only about 15-20,000 left and all the 1NNNN.com's are gone and over 90% of the 2NNNN.com's are gone. I can think of a lot of uses for these domains, cash parking, cell phone words, lucky numbers, foreign postal codes (many countries including Germany and Sweden use 5-digit postal codes), product specific or other uses. Any thoughts on these? I have been thinking about making a large purchase of NNNNN.com's as a long-term investment, since I think they might all be gone soon. Thanks,

We have seen that several N-NN.com domains been sold at around $30 here at namepros. This is a very solid profit for N-NN.com domainers in a very short time.

The dash

The problem with the dash is that it misses one valuable feature of a numeric, that it can be easily typed in a cell phone. I have been scanning the NNNNN.com's and while most of these are gone there are a few good words that haven't been registered in the numeric forms yet.
