Thanks 4ltrorg. Trying to add your rep but can not. In fact I am trying to find such stuff but only get limited data from afternic. I guess there's much great sales just like you've mentioned just now.

I sold 545 on NP for $11,000 and 494 on DNF for $9,000 in December '07 and January '08 respectively. Those are both in the .com, I just didn't want them indexed to respect the new owner.

Great numbers for both the domains and the dollars!!!

For everyone here....

Recently the N-NN and NN-N domains sold out. I was wondering if anyone had an idea about what the going rate should be on these? I know that NNNN.com's start at $350 and there are about 9500 more of those, but the N-NN have a dash, dashes are common with phone numbers, but not inputting into the cell phone / keyboard. Thus, with that one limitation, what do you think would be a good asking price?

I've only got of 10 these domains. However some people purchased a whole lot and I'm sure they're also wondering what they should ask for. Or, should they hold off for a while until interest picks up???

Below are 3 of my 10 and any suggestions will help others....

0-76 (spirit of 76)
44-8 (domain for dummies 4+4=8)
8-67 (5309, 8675309....I like that song.)

I'm not that tech savy either so I did a little research and here are some excerpts from an article that might help you...
--------------------------------------------------------------
Numeric Domains 101

On billions of cell phones worldwide, the dial pad numbers 2 through 9 can represent letters of the alphabet. The numeral 2 can represent "a," "b" or "c." The "7" button can represent "p," "q," "r" or "s," etc.

On your cell phone WAP (wireless application protocol) browser, entering a numeric string and adding ".com" creates a numeric domain.

Simple input. It's much easier to enter 3776 (.com) -- four input clicks -- than it is to enter a lengthy sub-domain required to get to the same Web site such as mobileapp.espn.go (.com), requiring 32 input clicks.

Numeric-domains reduce keypad input clicks, thereby reducing input error, frustration and abandonment. Numeric-domains are handheld device, wireless carrier, language and location agnostic.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

In closing - From what I gather some companies are registering numeric domains for use with cellphones and then are forwarding those domains to their company website.

I imagine it could be helpful for companies like AlberstsonMeyersComputersInc.com whom could just state something like
You can visit Albertson, Meyers, Computers Inc. website on your cell phone browser by dialing 4567.com.

The advantages of number domains:

1): Easy to spell, internationalized.
2): Very rare, NNN.com/N-NN.com/NN-N.com only 1000/1000/1000 exist. NNNN.com only 10000 exist. Now even N-NN.com/NN-N.com has been registered out. Now if you want to buy these domains, you have to find them in the aftermarket.

N-N-N.com were sold long before but N-NN.com are much prettier and will have more success in long time. N-N-N.coms are now hyped. Have somebody tried to sell any N-NN.com so far? I will try to put to auction 1 or 2 in 6 months.
