My little blog | BLONDE.TV i have just discovered is number 2 when doing a search for blonde on yahoo , the thing is i have plenty of content to add to it as time goes by , it's only about 3 weeks old

maybe the number 2 postition is for australia only searches , regardless it's still exciting to see it there ! :O

Congrats, great results!

I love the name but I may be a bit biased as I have the plural :)

I dont see it among first 10 pages on yahoo.com. First results belong to wiki, imdb, anwswers.com... I am not familar with yahoo algorythm, but I doubt you can outrank them with 3 weeks old WP site.

I've had good results ranking exact match domains .TV & .Net at Yahoo as long as the phrase isn't insanely competitive and I give it at least 2-3 months to get there. One site I was more aggressive at developing PembrokePines.tv seemed to get to page one in about six weeks. Actually I've noticed several sites of mine which had languished for some time on a distant page have been moving up the rankings in recent weeks. Clearly Yahoo places more weight on the domain than Google while Bing seems to give it more weight than Google but not quite the weighting of Yahoo. Google appears to place more emphasis on inbound links (except for images). Meanwhile a city+state .net geo I recently launched is at the bottom of page one of Bing while it isn't even indexed yet at Yahoo (Yahoo normally takes longer to index sites). That would never happen with any of my .TVs though I do see several showing up on page three to five of Bing - just got to keep working on those.

If I type in 'blonde' and 'TV' your site comes to the number two slot on Yahoo in the UK.

If I type in just 'blonde' your site comes visible on page ten on Yahoo in the UK.

Interesting site - my vote goes to Agnetha Fältskog who, I imagine, was actually the only true blonde on the list!

It's a long, long, long tail but I am sure out of the internet population the probability likely exists, regardless of how remote or or negligible...

I see you as #4 for the term Blonde TV, but I don't see you at all for the term Blonde at Yahoo.

It's a huge stretch / claim ... I couldn't even find it (in the first 10 - 12 pages+) at all at Yahoo under the term "Blonde", IMHO. :red:

Take care,
Jeff B-)

Well i got up this morning in australia , went to yahoo.tv and typed in blonde and again it was at number 2 just above the wikipedia site , so as you may have noticed i did put a question mark in the title of the post and going by the replies it does seem that .tv does appear in different postitions in different countries,,,, so no wild claims, half the reason i posted was to see what the replies were as to where people would see it postioned on their hometown yahoo, thanks for your imput
