NP incentives and TR

I am somewhat confused.

I have read a thread that bill gave to me regarding a discussion that took place regarding leaving feedback for people that have been paid via NP, and not normal cash such as paypal.

I have come to understand that RJ did not want anyone to receive feedback from any member that was paid in NP. Is this correct? I purchased a large amount of NP so that I could buy, sell and trade on this site. It seems to me that the worth of NP are diminished somehow by this. I have in the past even lost as much as 10,000 np to scammers on this site.

So If I run a contest for a logo, and pay the person in NP, he cannot leave feedback for me that I paid him fast?

I'm not trying to cause problems, and I will abide by all of the rules, but I just want some clarification.

Hi Phil,

Feedback for NP$ transactions is perfectly fine if is for a legitimate transaction of value. What the feedback guidelines discourage is exchanging feedback on micro-transactions where a few NP$ exchanges hands for something trivial.

As a guideline, NP$ incentive offers or transactions of less than 100 NP$ generally don't warrant an exchange of trader rating. I'm sure you would agree the worth of trader ratings is diminished when it's exchanged over a 10 NP$ incentive offer, for example.
