new gtlds Now I understand why people would buy a holiday-based domain name

There are a few new domain name extensions I don’t totally understand. Among them is .Christmas, a domain name extension operated by Uniregistry. I didn’t really understand why people would buy a domain name based on a holiday. This morning, my perspective changed a bit.

Ah yeah, I've seen that Alpnames is selling them. Maybe it's meant for people who have Christmas related products or events? Although you have to admit, it is a nice name haha

chrimbo is almost a 6 month long event - many busineses make more 3 months to chrimbo than they do all year

many millions are made from chrimbo songs that get massive radio time every single year and have done for decades and will do in future decades

(but it not commercialized) lol
