Google is sending out notices that Adsense accounts doing MFA or arbitrage will be closed by June 1st.

Just in time for everyone to move over to YPN (if Y! hurries up already).

But all parking page providers must have premium publisher accounts to be able to throw up a page full of ads with no content. So are these premium publishers next on the hit list..."

It's pretty much pages or sites that are set up with little or no content that display mostly ads.

It's interesting how Google is gonna dictate what is and what isn't an MFA site. Some are blatant but some could be arguable.

Time will tell but I think that mini-sites with original and relevant content should be ok.

IMHO this could end up being a good thing. I think it is interesting that big G seems to be hitting on MFA sites and have been sending me little notes that I can generate more revenue by increasing the number of ads on my sites.

MFA means made for adsense, and arbitrage is where you put up a mini site with say Google high bid keywords and buy low bid keywords thru overture or adwords to deliver traffic to your mini sites. You make a profit on the revenue over cost.

I gotta think ppc pages are on the radar for elimination next.

I dont know about you guys, but have you all thought that parked pages could be next on the list? All the parking companies could have their accounts closed, and that means no more parking....?

This news is getting out...I think it is VERY important news for all domainers.

In case that they also close that account there are always solution for that.
Will come anothers parking service that collect ads by it self or some.
The big mistake here is think that Big G is the only ads provider on the world.

really bad... I just invested some money for those website and now they turn it down in the future.

I don't think parking companies have to worry. Google is doing this because MFA has a bad name. Even if parked pages with Google feeds are virtually the same, they are less often associated with Google.

Plus a big part of Googles adsense income comes from parked pages, so they won't be giving that away to anyone soon.

I do think they are putting the pressure on parking companies to maintain the quality of parked names, which is why adult names have already been banned and the requirements are high to get into the better paying parking programs.

You're right. The argument has always been "it isn't made for adsense, it's made with adsense", but then Google always has the same simple answer "it's our search engine, if you don't agree tough cookies".

The problem with that is - Adult keywords and terms Have and Will Always be in the Top 10 Searched items

I'm not a huge fan of Adult names , But I have enough to know the traffic doesn't go away - It just keeps improving.

I know, where do they come from? You would think everyone on the planet clicked on the "Watch gay movies" ad by now :gn:

I get the most traffic on adult names too, it's just that the PPC is dropping fast.

Yeah , Google wants to distance themselves from several things .... But IMO , They should have had a shell company waiting to take over Adult PPC - Big loss for them.


I like messing around with RSS feeds etc ... But have always figured they'd start shutting out the Cookie Cutter MFA type sites .... and I've told several in the past not to mess with them (Especially the one's people were selling in multitudes).
