No iPhone? What Kind Of Cell Phone Do You Have?

I just got a Virgin Mobile Switchback cell phone off ebay the other day, still sealed for $85. I like the convenience of a no-contract, prepaid cell phone (whoa, I'll wait for a prepaid, less expensive iPhone, thanks!) and with a full QWERTY keyboard, camera, and other nice features like speakerphone, web browsing, and voice dial, the Switchback was just the phone for me.

I used to love my old block phone. I dropped it in the toilet (don't ask) and once I even left it on the top of my limosuine. I'm driving down the highway when I hear something roll down the 20 foot length of roof, bounce off the trunk and land on the highway at 110 kilometers an hour. I pulled over and watched it get run over at least twice before i could get to it. No sooner did I pick it up, it rang, I answered and was off to my next fare.

And yes - I do remember it getting hot. just wonder what wonderful rays it was projecting into my head...

I wouldn't dare do the same with my flip-phone.

Great phone, my only complaint is that everyone and their mother has it. Almost as common as the Razr... :]

One thing I love about it is the photo quality...I took this while zipping down the road at a good 70 mph or so...
