Free 411 service from ANY phone -- Even cell phones

Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls.

Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem.

When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial 1(800)FREE 411 or 1(800) 373-3411 without incurring any charge at all.

This works on your home phone as well!

Been using FREE-411 for a while now. You have to sit through some ads and it's voice recognition, so sometimes it gets the city/state/business/person wrong... but it's still better than paying $2 for 411.

Been using this for quite a while too, there's another free 411 service with no ads, but it doesn't have every number.

Had this on my cell for quite a while. The service isn't perfect, but like others have already said, 0$ is much better than 2$-10$.
