No Gays On MySpace

The popular social networking site MySpace appears to have eliminated the ability of users to list their sexual orientation as 'Gay' within their profiles.

The screen shot below shows that the function that allows MySpace users to edit their personal profiles has eliminated 'Gay' as an option under the 'Background and Lifestyles' section. Curiously, users can still list themselves as 'Lesbian' or 'Bi.'

I would have imagined so.. seems these days, if you look, either gays are overwhelmingly members of the social sites, or it's just uber trendy to identify yourself as one.

I tried this as a joke, set my profile to lesbian and it read gay on my page. Quickly changed that one LOL

One of my old GF's used to describe me as a lesbian trapped in a man's body.. said it was a compliment! Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...

well even tho Lesbian changes to "gay"
not having gay, thats a pretty hard glitch or something to miss.

Hmmm maybe it's a glitch for some people. Because my brothers myspace details of orientation lists him as gay. And two of my others friends orientation are listed as lesbian(yes she is a female) the other is a male.

So it's either glitch or a joke on some. I thought I read somewhere that Myspace got hacked by two guys and screwed around with the scripting. And by the life of me cant remember where I read it at.

EDIT: Ok I didn't read it, well I guess I did. But my son said just now that Tom sent out bulletins regarding this issue. So Fewski was right than.

me personally not being a myspace member i wouldn't know this, also if its true that someone hacked myspace thats sad on 2 levels, someone would waste there time on myspace & they don't have a very good system :P
