No funding, so how can I promote my website?

This may seem like an ironic question considering my website is about helping to promote others sites but before I can do that I need advice with helping me promote my site without funding. I have been looking for investors to help market my new website but have been struggling.

So far I have submitted to social bookmarking websites, spread it through word of mouth, participated in community forums, written business plans and so on.

I truly believe my new website will be a massive success but just need help publicising it.

If anyone has any more tips to help me out that would be great. Or better yet if somebody would like to invest for a percentage in my venture we can work something out. I am a very honest and respectable guy so please let me know if yuo are interested.

Here's a few ideas:
*Traffic programs (free) see my page /traffic.htm on trulyrewarding.com
*Splash pages: Squidoo, HubPages, Myspace, Facebook, Yuwie etc
*Link trades (a-b-c if possible)
*PTC, using credits (similar to NP$)
*NP$- views for sites
*NP$-Pay for sign ups (looks like you are doing this?)
*Submit URL to free directories,
*Search Engines etc.

others are social bookmarking, safelist promotion, direct email via newsletter (not spam), directory submissions, classified ads postings, blogging, blog comments, all are DIY.

In other words, if you lack finances then balance it all up with your time.

there are ton of ways to promote a site for free. you just use the free ways to build backlinks and over time your SERP ranking will improve providing you with organic traffic. here are some free ways to build backlinks:

social bookmarking (you have done that already)
directory submissions (there are thousands of free directories out there without the need of recip link)
dofollow blog commenting
press release
forum signature (relevant forum is best)
squidoo lens (highly relevant backlink for free)
hubpages (your personal hubscore needs to be above 75 for the links to be dofollow)
article submission to free article directories
etc

Yes forum signatures can be effective and good for back linking especially if you post at like 5-7 forum per day. I use aeticle marketing too with great success

OBviously you can promote your website with various ways without funding... Go for directory submissions, social bookmarking , yahoo answer posters, Forum posting, blog commenting, ads postings .. What else you want??

there are other ways to promote your site that don't required a single penny. as other says above you may do link building yourself. and after some time, eventually you'll see a difference because of your hard work, and when that day comes, you may have enough money to help promote your website and possibly earn a lot.
