In most countries phone numbers are 7-digit (excluding area code). Doesn't it add end-user value to 7N numbers? Especially if it is a good pattern.

I believe in China if they pay attention to numbers they must pay attention to their phone numbers too, don't they? Imagine that a person has a golden phone number like 7101010. It would be not bad to own 7101010.com too, wouldn't it? Taking into consideration that golden phone numbers are sold to wealthy people then there is chance to sell this domain to him, especially taking into consideration domain names frenzy in China.

Any ideas?

I did not have any 7N so I picked up a few this morning. Who knows, they could worth $25 in a week

At the moment I know nothing about meanings so I chose random 7N following these few rules:
- No 0 and no 4.
- At least 2 times the number 8.
- No more than 3 different numbers.

Yeah, your right, I recently bought some 8N's and 9N's from fellow domainers. The patterns were good but I never thought I would ever be spending $4000 on numeric domains, let alone so long domains which for me personally is a lot of money.

There are something like 16,000 8N with 5 8's anywhere in an 8N. It's some fraction of that when you drop 4's and front/middle 0's.

IMHO when you have that small a fraction of 100M total 8N, they are what is going to be worthy of having.

Ditto for the better sub cats in 7N. Like the 10,000 palindromes in 7N. Palindromes with 1 or more 8's plus no 4 or 0's shrinks the best of 7N palindromes way down.

- Does not contain number 0 or 4.
- Two occurences of number 8.
- Contains only 3 different numbers.

I searched a list of 13230 names and out of that list only 132 were available (1%).
I registered a few in the list and just rescanned that short list.

I can't say ......don't speak Chinese ? But it sure is not gonna hurt, my 买域名 is only three days old and has had over 1000 visits. I do have some redirects in place. You have helped your self by doing that. Hell would freeze over before I had a link to Epik on my site though
