Any thoughts on if NNNNN.org domains will go the same way as the .com/.net?

6N.org was not the buyout and would definitely be a long shot, which would surprise me if it were bought out.

And, no, I'm posting this so that I can swoop in an register these -- not interested.

I have exactly 1 5N org to match a .com that I have.

Based on my scans of the 5N.org registrations, non-Chinese registrants were too late get many 5N.org. Members here probably managed 10's at best. The registrations were mainly by Chinese, and there doesn't seem to be a (single) registrant who reg'd the majority of available domains during the recent months (I have been monitoring 5n.net/org for four months now).

So negative, for what reason? Cause you're on the sidelines? Everyone is making $. No one knows what's going to happen in the future you could be right you could be wrong, fact is now all 5N.org's are bought out.

Years ago, I invested in 4L and some 5N and 5L .com, so I'm hardly on the sidelines.

Don't get me wrong; .org is a fine gTLD. I have some nice one-word domains, and the gTLD can be powerful for non-profit purposes.

The Chinese may or may not invest in .org, but I think it's risky, unless you're pumping and dumping. I don't know about you, but my investments are long term.

I do question the mass registration of random .org, especially 6N; someone will be left holding the bag.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the mass registrations are due for renewal. My guess is if they're worth more than reg fee, we won't see a large amount of drops like you're predicting.

Just like .com and .net, eventually the pattern comes along where 3N, 4N, 5N and 6N .org will be valuable. I think after that there's just too many combinations to show value. 8N just in .com has 10 million possible combo's, that's more than 3N to 7N for .com, net, org combined.

Finally a premium 5N dropped. 22333 sold today on GD for $153. I think it's a good sign of things to come especially since all 5Ns are registered.

Awesome! That's how the party gets started. Only 100,000 5N.org exist in the world, so there has to be some value if 5N.com is worth XXXX+ and 5N.net is worth XXX+.

Well, it sounds like you have the list of all sales there. Why don't you check Godaddy auctions instead of NameBio. I know for a fact that members that have posted in this thread purchased expired domains from GD Auctions-and it's up to them to mention the name/ price. No-those did not contain a "4".

Other than looking at "Namebio" and auction sites, there is a member here who has sold a 5n.org at NP.

If you have noted something to the contrary, please do share it.

The seller had a make offer thread, but when I visited the link to the thread again, it was closed and edited as sold.

I'm not sure of the price, but based on the min offer that appeared there, it must've sold for $xxx.

4N.org are selling for mostly low XXX right now. That being said, 5N should have a floor of at least $20. Premium numbers higher obviously.

What are seeing with .org, (same with .net actually) used to be common in .com even in early 2015.

Surprised that the gtld's are getting more attention than 5N.org's. Most of the drops are registered except for the ones below. I would buy them myself, except GD increased CDN prices on domains by 50% so I said screw that.
