Hello everyone,
I would like to sell one of my niche sites built around baby items. The domain name is ItеmsfоrBаby.cоm (type it manually as I used some foreign characters to prevent indexing). As you can see, it’s a keyword-rich .com with some age (regged in 2008). The name is at GoDaddy.
The site currently has 25 unique quality articles about different baby items (I paid $125 for these articles). It’s running on Wordpress with Thesis theme and all the necessary plugins have been installed (SEO, sitemap, etc.).
I created it in the beginning of the year and did some initial linkbuilding like submitting to social bookmarks, directories and ezinearticles, the site immediately started getting traffic (it’s called “new site bonus”) then got sandboxed. I continued building links (I must have spent about $100 on linkbuilding in total) and in November the site got out of the sandbox and is now getting some nice long-tail traffic (all the traffic is organic, no paid stuff or traffic exchange sh1t). See the last section for traffic proof.
The site makes money from AdSense (for some reason the CTR is rather low - perhaps it's a good idea to experiment with ad placement and colors) and eBay (it requires phpbay – my very best investment in software). See the last section for revenue proof.
I am selling the site because this niche is really far from my main 3 niches. Furthermore, it requires more than 25 articles to reach its full potential. I will give references of the writer to the new owner so that he or she can fill the site with more articles and increase the number of long-tail searches. I will help with keyword research if needed. The new owner can also continue targeting the main keywords “items for baby” (#9 in Google) and “baby items” (#23 in Google), owning which would bring a wave of quality traffic.
Of course, I will be happy to provide any other assistance the new owner might need, including the site transfer. I can also continue hosting the website for a few months.
